OmniRide to Host Senior Summit June 15
OmniRide will hold a Senior Summit on June 15 from 10am-2:30pm at the Ferlazzo building. Community partners will showcase their services and provide resources for older adults, their families, and caregivers.
The event will include four 45-minute presentations by the following organizations:
- safety and security presented by Prince William County Police Department,
- avoiding scams and fraud by AARP,
- community resources by the Prince William County Department of Social Services,
- caregiver support and resources by UVA Community Health,
- demonstration of Tai Chi by Your Third Eye, LLC,
- and transportation information by Bluebird Tour Program and OmniRide.

OmniRide is the operating name for the mobility services offered by the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC). The organization provides Local bus service in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park; Express service for commuters along the I-95 and I-66 corridors to employment centers in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.; and Metro Express which connects riders with Metro Stations. In addition, OmniRide’s Employer Services assists local employers who wish to establish or expand an employee transportation program.
